Before After

Matt, 50

Bury Park, Luton

At age 50, Matt from Luton was getting married and wanted to look his best for the wedding photos. His hair loss had been bothering him for some time, and after discovering scalp micropigmentation online a few months prior, decided he wanted to fix the problem once and for all.

We always recommend an age appropriate hairline for all clients. Still a relatively young man, Matt was pretty open about what style to go for, however Craig was keen to keep his look as natural as possible so he could blend back into his social circle with the change unnoticed.

Matt was doubtful that people wouldn’t realise he had something done, but he was surprised at the lack of any kind of reaction from his friends. As we tell all our clients, people tend to be pre-occupied with their own lives and whilst your hair might be a big deal to you, no-one else really pays much attention.

Before After

Asim, 35

Leagrave Marsh, Luton

When Asim came to Scalp Micro UK, he was already sold on the idea of scalp micropigmentation because he’d been researching for some time before contacting us. The tougher challenge for Asim was choosing a suitable SMP artist for his procedure.

Asim contacted us because he liked Craig’s work, and the short distance to us from his home in Luton was a great added bonus too.

His SMP procedure was straightforward as he was a great candidate for scalp micropigmentation. His only request was to add an imitation scar into his frontal hairline. This is a common request among our clients, as it adds an additional element of realism to the final result.

Before After

Danny, 38

Ramridge End, Luton

As Danny’s hair loss progressed over the years, he resigned himself to the reality of shaving what hair he had left, down to a very short length. He was reasonably happy with this look, but then he discovered scalp micropigmentation and realised that being bald didn’t have to be an inevitability.

Travelling from Luton, just a short drive from our SMP clinic in Studham, Danny came to our office for a friendly chat and free consultation.

After deciding to proceed with scalp micropigmentation, we discussed his requirements and decided upon a very soft and natural hairline that could pass undetected. Danny is very happy with his treatment outcome.

Before After

Jonathan, 44

Round Green, Luton

Concealment of scars is a common application of scalp micropigmentation. This is especially true of hair transplant scars, making up the vast majority of scar camouflage cases in the world of SMP.

This strip (FUT) scar, presented by Jonathan from Luton, was particularly challenging due to the uneven shape and texture of the scar tissue. Great care had to be adopted because scars like these can soak up pigment but then become quickly over-saturated, a problem that is difficult to reverse.

Craig approached Jonathan’s scar cautiously, using the smallest needles at his disposal and a very conservative pigment mix. It was painstaking work, but Jonathan is pleased with the outcome and as this scar heals, the pigment deposits will blend further into the surrounding hair to optimise the overall outcome.
